The Lady Wildcats lost a heart-breaker of a match to LCC 10-25, 25-17, 22-25. Kenton played a much improved defense against LCC in set 1 but just couldn't get their offense going. Set 2 was a different story as Sidney Payne served up the 1st 12 points of the match and Kenton's offense came alive for the 25-17 victory. Kenton girls take their first loss of the season tonight losing 3-2. The Wildcats took a 2-0 lead to the half after goals from Ali Harpel and Abi Temple. Both goals were assisted by Gabi Wetherill. Riverdale trailed Elida at the end of the 1st half 1-0. With 13 minutes left in the 2nd half, Riverdale pulled their Goalie O’Flehrty to put him in at forward. Elida scored with 7 minutes left to go up 2-0. O’Flehrty for Riverdale scored at 4:42 and 1:11 to tie the game and finish the match 2-2. Man of the match.
