Allison Woodruff, a former standout for the Riverdale Falcons, has carried her cross-country career to new heights, earning first-team all-Ohio Athletic Conference honors as a freshman. During high school, she qualified for state in track all four years, set Riverdale school records in the 1600 and 3200, and was part of the record-breaking 4x800 relay team.
After the first undefeated regular season in program history and an Ohio Athletic Conference championship, Ohio Northern Men's Soccer has carried its momentum into the postseason. The Polar Bears posted an impressive 11-0-6 record during the regular season and secured a 4-1 win over Mount Union in the OAC semifinals. The victory advances ONU to the finals, where they will face regular-season runner-up Otterbein on Sunday, November 9th.
Kenton Wildcats receiver Zayne Perkins earned 2nd Team Offensive Skill honors from the Western Buckeye League. His teammates Jayden Mustain, Maddux McFarlin, Alex Rogel, and Garry Phipps also received recognition with honorable mentions. The WBL honored Tyler Doeden-Kiessling of Defiance and Mason Ludwig of Wapak as Co-Offensive Linemen of the Year. Ada Bulldogs Soccer had an incredible 2025 season. The boys' team achieved an impressive record of 11-5-2, while the girls' team excelled with a 12-5-2 record, including a playoff victory against Kalida. Their success extended to individual honors, with both teams earning four selections each to the All-District teams. Kenton boys soccer assistant coach Jordy Martin earned the Division IV Assistant Coach of the Year title from the Northwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association. Martin played a key role in guiding the Wildcats to a 10-5-5 record this season. The recognition extended beyond Martin, as Micah Bowman and Josh Rich secured spots on the All-District first team, while Marlon Lopez and Gus Wingfield were honored with second-team selections.
It was a successful day for Addi Manns and Wade Manns at the OHSAA Division III State Cross Country Championships at Fortress Obetz. Addi secured an impressive 6th place finish with a time of 18:32.06 in her third and final appearance at the State Meet. Wade delivered a solid performance, finishing 41st in his debut trip to state.
