Berger Takes State Championship in Weight Throw

Riverdale’s Brody Berger snagged first place in the weight throw at the OATCCC Div. IV Indoor State Championship. Just a junior, he’s already committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes. Fellow Falcons also shined, Marissa Bonham grabbed 2nd in the long jump and 3rd in the 400m, while Kolten Evans finished 7th in the 800m.

Seven Polar Bears Heading to Indoor Track State Meet

Hardin Northern is sending seven athletes to the 2026 Division III & IV Indoor Track State Meet at SPIRE Academy this Saturday. Riley Newton will race in the 400m and join Braxton Burnworth, Wesley Linke, and Wyatt Haley in the Boys 4x200 relay. Kenton Wrestling Duo Shows Out at WBL

H/T Kenton Wildcat Athletics At the WBL Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, Wapakoneta secured its third consecutive Wester Buckeye League title. That win moved Wapak to first all-time in WBL wrestling championships with 21. While Wapak dominated as a team, two Wildcats had great showings at the tournament. Isaiah Mundy took home the 150 LBS championship with a major-decision over Celina's Noah Russell, while his teammate Isaac Blevins was runner-up in the 190 LBS weight class.

Riverdale Wrestling Dynamic Duo Dominates BVC

H/T Riverdale Local Schools The Riverdale wrestling duo of Grady Phelps and Kydin Reed have been impressive throughout the entire season, and they continued to showcase their talents at this year’s Blanchard Valley Conference tournament. Phelps, awarded the BVC Wrestler of the Year, won the championship in the 144-pound weight class, while Reed claimed the title in the 190-pound division. Both wrestlers will now compete at the OHSAA state tournament.

Reppart Named Second Team All-District 8

H/T Ridgemont Athletics Ridgemont senior guard Harrison Reppart was named second team All-District 8 for Division VII. Reppart and the Gophers will be hosting Waynesfield-Goshen in the first round of this year's OHSAA basketball tournament on Thursday, February 26th, at 6 PM.
