Free Summer Meals for Kids Being Distributed Again on Monday

They will be passing out five -day shelf stable meals again on Monday, June 10. Kenton Man Changes Plea on Wednesday in Hardin County Municipal Court

A rural Kenton man changed his plea to guilty on one count of persistent disorderly conduct in Hardin County Municipal Court on Wednesday. 63- year- old Gene Rainsburg was arrested in January of this year after an incident in the 15,000 block of Township Road 180. He was originally charged with aggravated menacing after the Hardin County Sheriff's Office received a call about threats and harassment at the location. Rainsburg was sentenced to 30 days in jail, which was suspended. […]

South East Hardin North West Union Joint Fire District Called to Water Rescue on SR 31 in Union County Last Night

Heavy rains led to flooded roads throughout the area Wednesday evening. The South East Hardin North West Union Joint Fire District was called to a water rescue in the 33,000 block of State Route 31 in Union County's Washington Township. SR 31 was reduced to one lane while crews made the successful rescue. Both lanes were reopened, but standing water remained for some time in many locations.
