The Hardin County Agricultural Society is hosting a cheerleading competition at the Hardin County Fair on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. The competition is for school squads, recreation squads, local gyms, and USASF teams. Two Logan County Sheriff Deputies Receive Letters of Commendation

Photos: Logan County Sheriff's Office Two deputies with the Logan County Sheriff's Office received letters of commendation recently. Deputy Sheeley received his letter for saving his grandmother from choking while on his assigned shift. Deputy Edgar received his letter for pulling a male from the lake this past winter when the male's snowmobile went through the ice.

Beautiful Garden Tour Tickets On Sale Now

Keep Hardin County Beautiful is selling tickets for its Beautiful Garden Tour being held on Sunday, June 23. The tour will be from 1pm until 5pm that day, rain or shine. It will include 7 spectacular garden areas. Presale tickets are $10, and they are $15 the day of the tour. They can be purchased in the Keep Hardin County Beautiful office located in the Hardin County Courthouse, at Market on Main or New Leaf Garden center.

Hardin County Fair Reminds Livestock Exhibitors of Weigh-In Events

Photo: Hardin County Fair Hardin County Fair livestock exhibitors are being reminded about three more weigh-in events. Sheep weigh-in will June 8 from 8:00am until 9:30am. Also on June 8, is goat weigh-in from 10:00am until 11:00am. Rabbit tattooing is August 3 from 9:00am until 11:00am. Those will take place at the Hardin County Fairgrounds in Kenton.
