Kenton Man Arrested and Facing Multiple Charges From Grand Jury

Photo: Hardin County Sheriff's Office A Kenton man was arrested late last week and is facing multiple charges from a recent Grand Jury. 34-year-old Jeffrey L. Mowery was indicted on six counts of aggravated arson from fire he allegedly set last month putting six people at risk. Mowery was also indicted by the Grand Jury on one count of possession of fentanyl. No court date has been set at this time.

Road Work Set to Impact Hancock County This Week

Work to improve the County Road 99 corridor and build a diverging diamond interchange begins this week in Hancock County. The I-75 southbound entrance ramp will close tomorrow for approximately three days.     The detour will be I-75 north to State Route 18 to I-75 south. Road Projects Expected to Impact Hardin County Soon

A couple of road construction projects are expected to impact Hardin County next week. According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, State Route 67, between Township Road 85 and Township Road 95, will close on Monday, June 3, for approximately five days for a culvert replacement. Alger First Methodist Church Hosting Monthly Meal Tomorrow

The Alger First United Methodist Church will sponsor a Monthly Meal on Wednesday, May 29. The meal will be served from 4:30pm until 6:00pm at the Community Outreach Center, 305 North Main Street in Alger. You can dine in or carry out, and deliveries can be requested by calling 419-204-7910. The May menu is baked ham sandwiches, cheesy potatoes, fruit and brownies. There is no charge for the meal.
