Two Blood Drives Scheduled for May

There are two blood drives scheduled around the area in the month of May. The first is Monday, May 6th at Painter Creek Grange Hall from 11am until 5pm. The Grange Hall is located at 21552 County Road 190 in Mt. Victory. You can donate blood on Monday, May 20th from noon until 6 at the Kenton Moose Family Center located at 801 West Lima Street in Kenton. Dunkirk Man Injured in Two Vehicle Crash in Findlay

A Dunkirk man was injured in a two vehicle crash that occurred late Monday afternoon in Findlay. According to the report from the Findlay Police Department, 24 year old Nathan Reeves was stopped in traffic on Trenton Avenue when his car was struck from behind by a vehicle being operated by 21 year old Lei Melick, of Findlay. Monday May 6 is Give Staff a High 5 Day, Tuesday is Take a Selfie with Staff, Wednesday May 8 is Dress Like a Staff Member, Thursday is Thank the Staff and Friday May 10 is Write a Note to the Staff Day. KES Students Help with Clean Up Efforts at Indian Lake

Some Kenton Elementary School students spent part of Monday to help with clean up efforts at Indian Lake. The area was devastated by a deadly tornado on March 14, and the students in Darren Gilbert's Basketball Club decided they could help be a part of the solution. The students, along with Gilbert and Principal Clint Sneary, visited Lakeview yesterday to aid in the cleanup efforts. Students spent the day collecting debris out of the water along public land.
