Ridgemont Schools will be holding Staff Appreciation Week from May 6 through the 10. Monday May 6 is Give Staff a High 5 Day, Tuesday is Take a Selfie with Staff, Wednesday May 8 is Dress Like a Staff Member, Thursday is Thank the Staff and Friday May 10 is Write a Note to the Staff Day. Staff Appreciation Week is being held to honor the staff every day.

KES Students Help with Clean Up Efforts at Indian Lake

Some Kenton Elementary School students spent part of Monday to help with clean up efforts at Indian Lake. The area was devastated by a deadly tornado on March 14, and the students in Darren Gilbert's Basketball Club decided they could help be a part of the solution. The students, along with Gilbert and Principal Clint Sneary, visited Lakeview yesterday to aid in the cleanup efforts. Students spent the day collecting debris out of the water along public land.

The Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library is holding a Puzzle Swap this Saturday, May 4th. It is open to the public from 1:00pm until 3:00pm that afternoon for anyone to pick out free puzzles. Anyone who brings in a gently used puzzle between now and this Wednesday, May 1st, will receive an early entry ticket. They will be able to attend the Puzzle Swap Saturday from 10am until noon. Ohio Northern University Dedicates New State-of-the-Art Softball Facility

Ohio Northern University dedicated its new state-of-the-art softball facility – Durbin-Hileman Softball Stadium over this past weekend. The stadium is named in recognition of lead donors and longtime University supporters Melinda (Durbin) Hileman and David Hileman. The stadium is home to the university’s women’s softball team, and it features large dugouts, a new scoreboard with updated technology, padded backstop, upgraded press box, permanent bleachers with bucket seating, field lighting, and natural turf.
