Graphic Packaging in Kenton will hold a public cup sale this Saturday. It will be held from 8am until noon, May 18th at 809 Fontaine Street in Kenton. They will not be selling plates and will no longer accept cash. All payments are to be made via credit cards.
Kenton City Council is scheduled to meet this evening. During the meeting, the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance will present its May Development Report. Under business, two ordinances will be on first reading. One is to provide additional appropriations for 2024 and the other is to allow utility work by American Electric Power. The ninth regular session of the year will start at 7 this evening in the Kenton City Building.

The donation allows the league to keep the cost of water affordable for athletes and their families. Village Pantry makes the donation on an annual basis.
Photo: Upper Scioto Valley School District This week is Relay for Life Spirit Week at Upper Scioto Valley. Today is Pajama Day, Tuesday is Hats and/or Sunglasses Day, Wednesday is Pink Day, Thursday is Jersey Day and Friday is Relay for Life Shirt Day. Relay for Life will run during the day at the school in McGuffey on Friday. It raises money to help fund cancer research.
The Ridgemont Local School District has an opening in the food service area. The district is hiring a cafeteria cook. The position if for 3 hours per day, 180 days per year. Lieutenant Allen from the Piqua Post spoke about the patrol's Drive to Live program. It is geared towards meeting teens where they are and listening with shared interest about their future. Lt. Allen spoke about safe driving and the dangers of distracted driving and impaired driving.
