Village of Alger Seeking Part-Time Maintenance Helper

The Village of Alger is looking to hire a part-time maintenance helper for general outdoor work, groundskeeping, and light public works duties. You must be reliable, able to work independently, and perform physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions. You must have a valid Ohio driver’s license. Hardin County Farm Bureau Members Attend Ag Day at the Capital

Hardin County Farm Bureau Over 250 Ohio Farm Bureau members attended Ag Day at the Capital in Columbus on Wednesday. That included members of Hardin County Farm Bureau. Derek Snider, Austin Heil, and Dillon Rall joined the other attendees who were able to meet with elected officials and share about important agricultural issues. Those issues included taxes, land use, educational opportunities for agriculture, and prepping and building the workforce in Ohio.

Hardin County Humane Society to Host Pet Food Pantry Saturday

The Hardin County Humane Society is holding a Pet Food Pantry this Saturday, February 21. The hours will be from 10am until noon that day, and it is limited to Hardin County residents only. You must have a photo ID showing you are 18 years of age or older and provide proof of income documentation. First time visitors should allow extra time to complete and sign an application. The Humane Society is located at 13510 US 68 in Kenton.

Auglaize County Special Olympics to Face Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office in “Blue on Blue” Showdown

Auglaize County Sheriff's Office Auglaize County Special Olympics athletes will be taking the court to face off against the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office in the ultimate "Blue on Blue" showdown on March 4. Doors will open and 6:00 pm, and tip-off is at 6:30 that evening at the St. Marys Memorial High School gymnasium. The public is encouraged to attend the game, and  support the amazing competitors and enjoy a night of community, sportsmanship, and serious skills.
