3 UCSO Employees Recognized During Awards Banquet

The Union County Sheriff's Office held its Annual Awards Banquet in recognition of employees and their service to the county residents.   An array of awards, from years of service to Employee of the Year were presented to the staff members.   Nominated and awarded were Jaymie Williams, Deputy of the Year, Andrea Schalip, Communications Officer of the Year and Alicia Bosch, Civilian of the Year.   The Sheriff's Office congratulated each of the employees.

Marion County Road Closed Due to High Water

The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced that State Route 203 between State Route 4 and Prospect in Marion County is closed due to high water. Heavy rain is expected to continue today and tomorrow. Motorists should never try to drive thru high water, it could be deeper than it looks. ODOT said you should always remember to Turn around, don't drown.

Entire Region Under Flood Watch Until Friday Morning

Drivers Escape Injury in Wyandot County Crash This Week

The Wyandot County Sheriff's Office released details of a crash that occurred this past Monday afternoon at the intersection of State Route 67 and County Highway 44.   According to the report, 80 year old Susan Crow, of Upper Sandusky, drove from a stop sign on 44 onto 67 and struck an eastbound car being operated by 28 year old Charlene Wears, of Bucyrus.   After the collision, Wears car continued off the right side of the road and struck […]

Richwood Woman Issued Summons Following Traffic Stop

A Richwood woman was charged following a traffic stop on Tuesday night.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, officers stopped a car in the 300 block of South Wayne Street for a traffic violation.   A search of the vehicle was conducted, and officers found several drug abuse items, which were confiscated.   33 year old Jennifer Lowery was issued a summons for possessing drug abuse instruments.

Theft From Vehicle Reported to KPD

A theft from a vehicle was reported to Kenton police on Tuesday.   According to the report, a vehicle parked in the 200 block of East Eliza Street was entered and a laptop computer and backpack were stolen.   No value of the missing items was listed on the report.   It's not known if the vehicle was locked at the time.

Riverdale CCP Meeting Being Held This Evening
