Bluffton University Concert Band Set to Perform

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Safe Room Rebate Program is once again accepting applications.     Allyene Mae Wolf began her eternal journey January 31, 2019, peacefully at home at age 101 years 7 months 26 days. She was born on June 5th, 1917, to Harold and Savilla Pfeiffer in the homestead 1867-built 12-room brick house in Goshen Township, Hardin County, Kenton, Ohio located on land deeded to the family in 1837.   Allyene was raised on that farm and attended Pfeiffer School, a one-room facility where grades one through eight were taught. Charles Junior Wallace, 75, of Kenton passed away at his residence on Sunday, February 3, 2019. He was born on October 31, 1943 in Kenton to the late William and Theresa E. (Yohn) Wallace. He married Madalene Coyer and they divorced. He then married Lisa Porter and they also divorced. The Kenton Middle School wrestling team came away with a win over Defiance 41-40 last night in a home dual match. Both teams were knotted up at 40-40 after all the matches and tie-breaker criteria was used to determine the final outcome with Kenton on top. Defiance Defeats Kenton in Wrestling Match Monday

The Kenton High School Coed Varsity Wrestling team fell to Defiance High School 53-19 Monday night. Four Wildcats were victorious over the Bulldogs. Carter Bays beat Dominic Tracy with a pin fall at the 2:50 mark in the second period. Josh Davis recorded his first varsity win with a 6-5 decision over Keaton Linebrink. Ethan Manns earned a major decision win over Alex Hoeffel. Manns racked up 11 unanswered points in a 11-0 win. Noah Eikenbary won by forfeit.

Judge Makes Ruling in Pilkington Case

A Logan County judge has made a key ruling in a case involving a woman who is charged with killing her three young sons.   The Bellefontaine Examiner reported that Judge Mark S.
