Kenton firefighters battled very high winds in a house fire that occurred Sunday morning in Kenton. Firefighters were dispatched to 1022 West North Street. Upon arrival, smoke and flames were visible pouring from the residence. Three adults made it out safe. The American Red Cross provided assistance to the residents. The applications are available at each of the libraries around the county and the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance. The registration deadline is March 6. The class is limited to 24 participants, and there are several sponsorships available for those persons who would self-pay and not sponsored by an employer or organization.
COLUMBUS — The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) Board of Directors today approved a 20 percent reduction in the average premium rate it collects from private employers.
