A Mt. Victory woman reported that her purse was stolen while she was in Kenton Sunday evening. According to the Kenton Police Department report, the woman told officers that she was the Dollar Tree at the time of the theft. Numerous personal items, including checks and multiple identification cards and documents were in the purse. The incident is under investigation.

Kenton High School Wrestling team places 7th at the Division II OSHAA Sectional wrestling tournament in Clyde, Ohio. There were two reports of semis being blown over as a result of the wind gusts. The first was reported just before 1:30 Sunday afternoon in the 20,000 block of State Route 31 south of Mt. Victory. A man was arrested on a warrant following a traffic stop in Wyandot County over the weekend.
