There's been an increase in reports involving counterfeit currency in Findlay over the last two weeks. According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, the denominations have been ten and twenty dollar bills. Most of the bills have been passed at restaurants and convenience stores. An early Friday morning crash seriously injured a Bellefontaine man. WPKO Radio reported that 39 year old Anthony Hannah lost control of his vehicle in the 800 block Heritage Court in Bellefontaine. A Kenton man was indicted by a grand jury in Logan County. According to documents filed in Logan County Common Pleas Court, Bryant Piper was indicted on a felony count of theft. The alleged offense occurred in November of 2018. Piper is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon.
SNAP recipients will receive 50% of their March benefits this month, and the other half on the assigned issuance date in March.
