Allen East scored a total of 296.5 points to take the 2019 Northwest Conference Wrestling Championship held at Allen East High School. Bluffton finished second in the tournament with 270 points while Columbus Grove took third at 216 points. A car was damaged after it slid on the ice and struck a stop sign Sunday evening in Kenton.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 50 year old Vonda Perkins, of Kenton, attempted to make a right turn from Espy Street onto Robinson Avenue, and the car slid on the ice and struck the sign knocking it over.   Moderate damage occurred to the car.   […]

Brim’s Reports Theft of Trailer from Business Lot

Brim's Imports in Kenton reported that a trailer parked on the business lot at 370 West Franklin Street in Kenton was stolen sometime within the last several weeks.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, the trailer is a black Sure-Trac dump style trailer with two pull out ramps at the rear.   It is valued at $5000.   The theft is under investigation.

Vehicle Stolen While Parked in Kenton

A motor vehicle was stolen over the weekend in Kenton.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, a Marion woman told officers her vehicle was stolen while it was parked in the 500 block of South Leighton Street.   The vehicle is a red 1979 Ford pickup.   The incident is under investigation.
