Mt. Victory Man Arrested on Union County Warrant

A Mt. Victory man was arrested Monday on a warrant from Union County. According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff's Office, a deputy was sent to the Multi-County Jail in Marion to take custody of 54 year old Ronnie Napper Jr. on an outstanding warrant. Napper was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. He is being held on a charge of aggravated menacing.

Alger Baseball Association Holding Sign-Ups

The Alger Baseball Association is having sign-ups for G-Ball, Pee Wee, Girls Softball and Little League today (Tuesday March 12) and tomorrow (Wednesday March 13). It will take place in the Community Building at the Alger Park.  The cost for one player is $40 and $30 for any additional family member.  A team shirt and hat are included in the cost.
