USV Students Earn Bowling Trip

7-12 Grade students at Upper Scioto Valley were rewarded for their hard work.  58 students who kept their grades up all year earned a fun day of bowling and arcade gaming.  Some of their teachers were also rewarded. The school district noted that trips like these help build a sense of community that staff and students can reflect on for years down the road.

Average Hardin County Gas Price Up Another 18 Cents a Gallon

The average price for a gallon of gas in our region continues to climb.  According to AAA, the average in Hardin County today is $4.24 a gallon. That's an increase of 18 cents from last week. Section of CR 205 Closed for 6-8 Weeks

The Hardin County Engineer's Office announced a road closing late last week. County Road 205, between the village of Patterson and Jackson Township Road 50, is closed. It is expected to be closed for 6 to 8 weeks. That is for a bridge repair project.
