Findlay Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident Monday Night

A 44 year old Findlay man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Findlay Monday night. According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Coventry Drive to investigate. Here is the complete release from the Findlay Police Department..... An unknown male caller made a call into Findlay Police Department Dispatch Center. The caller advised that he was at Findlay High School in a 2nd floor restroom. He stated he had an AR-15 style rifle and that he was holding two students hostage. One Sentenced in Common Pleas

One person was sentenced this week in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. Derek C. Thomas changed his plea and was found guilty on one count of assault and two counts of harassment with a bodily substance. He was placed on five years community control with conditions. Thomas must serve 93 days local incarceration. He must also pay a total fine of 3500 dollars. The case was heard by Judge Steve Christopher.
