Ada senior wrestler Clayton McClain got a milestone win at the Woodmore “A” Classic Wrestling Invitational held this past weekend. McClain won the 2024 Class A 150 pound Championship at the event. That marked his 100th career win.

Teenage Boy Injured in Wapakoneta Shooting Incident

A 15 year old boy is in critical condition after being shot in Wapakoneta early Sunday morning. According to a release from Wapakoneta Police Chief Calvin Schneider, officers were notified about the shooting at just before 5:30 Sunday morning. The boy was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Chief Schneider stated that foul play is not suspected, but agents from BCI are assisting in the investigation. He added that […]

Vacuum Sewer System Back Online in Forest

The vacuum sewer system in the Village of Forest has been brought back online as of just before 9:30 this morning. The maintenance crew in the village has worked on the system over the last several days. They were able to get the system functioning normal late Sunday morning, but again experienced issues earlier this morning. The system will continue to be monitored.
