Extension Educator Recognized at Epsilon Sigma Phi National Conference

Hardin County's Family and Consumer Sciences Educator Jami Cavinee Dellifield was recognized at the Epsilon Sigma Phi National Conference in Billings, Montana.  Dellifield received the Early Career Service award for the North Central Region.  She is a resident of Ada and a graduate of Ohio Northern University and Master’s degree from Ohio Methodist Theological School.

USV Observes Fire Safety Week

Elementary students at Upper Scioto Valley participated in fire safety week.  On Thursday, fire departments and EMS squads from throughout the district visited the school to provide instructions to the students. The instructions were designed to keep the students safe in case of an emergency.

Kenton Man Being Held on Domestic Violence Charge

Ryan Treen A Kenton man was arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported to the Kenton Police Department Wednesday evening. According to information on the police department's Daily Log Sheet, officers were dispatched to an apartment at 1037 South Main Street at around 6:40pm. After investigating, Ryan Treen was arrested. He is being held on a charge of domestic violence.
