Board of Elections Meeting May 4

The Hardin County Board of Elections will meet Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 6:30 a.m. in their office in the courthouse for the final election day.   In addition, the board will conduct their regular meeting, review the auditor’s report, approve the minutes of the April 15 meeting and approve bills.   This meeting will replace the May 13 regular meeting.

OhioHealth to Allow Two Visitors for Some Patients

OhioHealth has announced that effective Tuesday, April 27, it will allow two visitors each day for inpatient department patients only. Those visitors will be able to leave the patient room or hospital and come back into the building. All visitors will be required to wear a mask while in an OhioHealth facility, except while eating, and must be asymptomatic of COVID-19 symptoms. J&J COVID-19 Vaccines Available Again at ONU Mobile Clinics

Ohio Northern University's state-sponsored mass vaccination mobile clinics will again offer the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine along with the two-dose Moderna vaccine.  Participants will be able to choose which brand they prefer to receive. Two Vehicles Disabled by Crash in Kenton Friday

A crash in Kenton this past Friday heavily damaged two vehicles. According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 24 year old Nate Osborn, of Kenton, drove from a stop sign onto East Franklin Street, and his pickup was struck by a westbound vehicle being driven by a 53 year old Kenton woman.
