Keep Hardin County Beautiful Commission is sponsoring the Courthouse Beautification project. That is formerly known as the “Adopt-An-Urn” project. You may make a donation in honor or memory of someone special for a donation of $25 or more. Kenton, Ohio — The Hardin Soil & Water Conservation District, in partnership with the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD), is celebrating Stewardship Week from April 25 – May 2, 2021, focusing on the theme “Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities.” Hardin SWCD is a member of NACD, which oversees the annual Stewardship Week program, now in its 66th year. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from this evening until 7 Wednesday morning for Hardin County. The National Weather Service says that rain will transition to snow this evening. The snow may be heavy at times and lead to reduced visibility. The greatest accumulations will be on grassy or elevated surfaces and will end before daybreak. The Kenton City Schools Board of Education met Monday evening. Two Accidents Occur in Kenton Monday

A Forest woman was cited for operating a vehicle intoxicated after a crash in Kenton Monday night. According to the Kenton Police Department report, 43 year old Tonya Murray lost control of her vehicle while driving north in the 600 block of North Main Street. USPD is Drop Off Location in Wyandot County for Drug Take Back Day

The Upper Sandusky Police Department will be a drop off location for Wyandot County as part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day this Saturday April 24, 2021 from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. Operation Medicine Cabinet makes it easier to properly dispose of unused or expired medication.  This is a completely confidential program, and no personal information will be collected.  All prescription labels should be removed before arriving. Several Bellefontaine area students participated in the Bellefontaine Police Department's 10th Youth Police Academy. That was held this past Saturday at the Bellefontaine High School. The students learned about a variety of topics and were able to ask questions pertaining to each topic The Academy was especially helpful for students interested in a career in law enforcement.

Prevention Action Alliance Hosting G.A.P. Network Conference
