Columbus – During the 2023 Labor Day holiday weekend, the Ohio State Highway Patrol saw an increase in traffic stops. WAPAKONETA – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a motor vehicle pursuit that resulted in an officer-involved shooting in Auglaize County. A fatal fire occurred in the city of Findlay over the holiday weekend. The Findlay Fire Department was dispatched to 237 Clifton Avenue and the home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. The body of an adult male was found inside the structure. Officials in the Village of McGuffey announced that fire hydrant flushing will take place next week. It will begin September 11th and go through the 15th.  Residents may experience some water discoloration during this time.  That is a normal condition when flushing the main lines and hydrants.
