It is Day number 2 of the 2023 Hardin County Fair. The exhibit buildings open at 10 this morning, and the rides open at noon. Harness racing is featured in the Grandstand starting at 7 this evening. For a complete list of activities, visit: hardincountyfair.org The fair runs through September 10 at the fairgrounds in Kenton.

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)— Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the availability of $100 million in funding to help local communities eliminate dangerous railroad crossings. Troopers Apprehend Four Murder Suspects During the Labor Day Holiday Weekend

Columbus – During the 2023 Labor Day holiday weekend, the Ohio State Highway Patrol saw an increase in traffic stops. A total of 17,965 traffic enforcement stops were conducted along with 9,479 non-enforcement stops. Three of the traffic stops resulted in the apprehension of four murder suspects.
