An Arcadia woman was arrested on a warrant Monday morning at the Scioto Village Apartment compound. According to the Kenton Police Department report, an officer on patrol observed 24 year old Allison Herriott, who was known to have an arrest warrant. She was located inside an apartment and taken into custody. Herriott was later transported to the Multi County Jail in Marion.
Four people escaped serious injury in a two vehicle crash that occurred this past Sunday afternoon in Wyandot County. A mobile home was destroyed by fire back over this past weekend in Wyandot County. According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, the Sycamore Fire Department was dispatched to 1950 County Highway 44, and the structure was fully engulfed in flames. A theft from a vehicle was reported to Kenton police on Monday. According to the report, a resident in the 900 block of Vernon Street told officers that someone entered his vehicle sometime over the past several days and stole a GPS unit that was valued at $120. A Richwood man was arrested on a warrant back over the weekend. According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff's Office, a deputy travelled to the Delaware County Jail to take custody of 39 year old Joshua D. White. He was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Union County. White was transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.

A vacant house in Kenton was destroyed by fire early Saturday morning. According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to 701 South Wayne Street. The house was totally destroyed. The fire has been ruled an arson and is under investigation. A Bellefontaine man and a Kenton woman are facing drug related charged following a traffic stop Sunday afternoon.
