Man Rescued After Car Stalls on Flooded Road in Wyandot County

An Upper Sandusky man was rescued when his vehicle stalled out in water on County Highway 29 Sunday afternoon in Wyandot County.   According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the area to investigate a report that a vehicle with one occupant was stuck in the water.   The deputy arrived and observed Zachary M. Stolen Vehicle Recovered in Kenton

A report of a stolen vehicle was received by Kenton Police this past Saturday.   According to the report, a woman in the 300 block of North Leighton Street told officer her 2016 GMC Acadia was stolen from her residence.   She said the motor was running and the keys were inside at the time.   The vehicle was recovered, and a 41 year Upper Sandusky man was listed as the suspect, but he has not yet been charged.

Lima Man Arrested on Warrant

A Lima man was arrested on a warrant over the weekend in Kenton.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers received a tip that 33 year old Andy Mort was at a residence in the 300 block of South High Street.   Mort was located and multiple warrants for his arrest were confirmed.   He was taken to the Kenton Police Department and held until being turned over to the custody of the Hardin County Sheriff's […]

Hardin County Sheriff’s Citizens Sheriff’s Academy Concludes

Weather Spotter Class Scheduled for April 24

Two Stretches of 67 Set to Close Starting Next Week

Slight Decline in Gas Prices in Hardin County

The average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County declined slightly from last week.   AAA reported that the average price for a gallon of regular grade gas is $2.64 today. That is down 2 cents from last week's $2.66.   Hardin County no longer has the cheapest price per gallon in our region. The Marion Police Department is seeking assistance in identifying an individual in connection with an Armed Robbery at Ollie's at the Marion Plaza on Mt.
