Mansfield Abduction Suspect and Victim Located

COLUMBUS - The suspect and victim in yesterday’s abduction from the Ohio State University Mansfield campus have been located in Kentucky. Yesterday morning at approximately 11:45 a.m., the Patrol was notified of an abduction at gunpoint of an OSU student from the Mansfield campus. Witnesses described the suspect and victim and provided a description of them, and the vehicle driven by the suspect. A jury trial scheduled for Wednesday February 13 in the General Division of Hardin County Common Pleas Court has been cancelled. Prospective jurors do not have to appear. The Court is having trouble with the jury hotline, which is hindering its ability to contact the jurors.

Two People Killed in Hancock County Crash

Two people were killed in a crash that occurred Sunday evening on I-75 in Hancock County.   WFIN Radio reported that 25 year old Benjamin Wallen, of Findlay, lost control of his vehicle, which ended up across the median where it struck a semi tractor trailer unit being operated by 64 old Martin Sparks.   Wallen and a passenger, 30 year old Amelia Adams, also of Findlay, were both ejected from the vehicle and were pronounced dead at the scene.
