Slippery Roads Lead to Mishaps in Wyandot County

Several mishaps that were blamed on the weather were reported Sunday evening in Wyandot County.   According to the reports, 19 year old Destiny Oler, of Sycamore, lost control of her vehicle on County Highway 9. Kenton Man Facing Theft Charge

A Kenton man is facing theft charges following an incident reported to police on Sunday.   According to the report, officers were requested to the 300 block of High Street in reference to a theft.   The 72 year old victim told police that her 46 year old son made unauthorized charges totaling $875 on her credit card.   So far, no charges have been filed, and the incident remains under investigation.

Forest Man Facing Charges Following Traffic Stop

Tickets On Sale for Kenton Lions Club Show

Average Gas Prices Edging Higher

The average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County increased 6 cents a gallon this week.   AAA reported the average price for a gallon of regular grade gas was $2.11 today, up from last Monday's $2.05, but that was still the cheapest price in our region by one penny over the Allen County average.   The most expensive is in Marion County at $2.35 a gallon.   The statewide average is at $2.20 a gallon, and the […]

Driver Cited Following Roll Over Crash in Kenton

A rural Kenton resident escaped serious injury in a roll over crash that occurred late Friday afternoon.   The crash occurred just before 4:30 on Carrol at Glendale Streets in Kenton.   The complete report is not available at this time, but according to information on the police department's daily log sheet, Corey M. Eversole was cited for an improper turn.   BKP and the Kenton Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Marion Man Arrested on Warrant From Hardin County

A Marion man was arrested over the weekend in that county on a warrant from Hardin County.   According to the Kenton Police Department, officers were notified by the Marion County Sheriff's Office that 29 year old Donald Redmon II was arrested by their deputies following a foot pursuit.   Redmon was transported to the Hardin County Sheriff's Office after the warrant was served.
