Kenton’s Pay as You Throw Program Could be Changing

A big change could be coming for the Pay as You Throw program in Kenton.   Residents in Kenton have been mailed a survey asking if they would be in favor of replacing the Kenton trash bags with a 96 gallon wheeled container for trash and 64 gallon container for recyclables. DeGraff Man Facing Rape Charges

A DeGraff man has been arrested and is facing rape charges.   WPKO Radio reported that 23 year old Israel Gregg is accused of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13.   He was arrested by Logan County Sheriff's deputies Monday afternoon and charged with 3 counts of rape.   The alleged incidents occurred in 2018.   The incident remains under investigation.

Rep. Cross Recently Met with Hardin County Commissioners

State Representative Jon Cross recently discussed a number of issues with the Hardin County Commissioners.   Cross said he has co-sponsored bills on the marriage penalty act, heartbeat, business credit reporting agencies, and tax exemption on pensions due to death of a peace officer.   He added that he will have local office hours starting on the third Friday of the month at the Mary Lou Johnson Library alternating with Ada Library.

University of Findlay art majors will have works exhibited from Feb. 11-22 in the Dudley and Mary Marks Lea Gallery located in the Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion. Kenton Couple Victims of Scam

A couple in Kenton was the victim of a scam Monday.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, the victims told officers that a person scammed them out of $3400 in gas and gift cards.   The suspect is facing charges of theft and impersonating an officer.   The incident remains under investigation.

Two Facing Charges in Findlay for Allegedly Stealing Groceries

Two people are facing charges in Findlay for allegedly stealing a cart full of groceries belonging to an elderly woman.   According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, the woman left her cart in the lobby at Kroger on Tiffin Avenue over the weekend while she went to move her car to load them.   Two suspects, a male and a female, are believed to have stole the groceries while the victim was away.   Police asked for […]

Theft Reported at Auto Zone

A theft was reported at Auto Zone in Kenton.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, an employee of the store told officers Monday that two items were stolen from the store sometime on Sunday.   The incident was reported Monday.   The value of the missing items was listed at $140.

Bucyrus Man Arrested on Wyandot County Warrant

A Bucyrus man was arrested in Crawford County on a warrant out of Wyandot County.   According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, a deputy was dispatched to the Crawford County Justice Center where he took custody of Todd A. Nicholas on a warrant for the charge of failure to comply with a court order.   Nicholas was transported to the Wyandot County Jail.
