A Soup and Sandwich Supper is being held by the Community Church in the Park organization. It will be served this evening from 4 until 6 in the Riverdale School Cafeteria. The Peebles store in Kenton will be converting to Gordmans sometime this summer. According to a company spokeswoman, Stage Stores is converting a number of Peebles locations to the Gordmans brand. No criminal charges will be filed against the varsity wrestling coach at West Liberty-Salem High School. WPKO Radio reported that Dave Clem had been accused of being too rough during a wrestling drill with a 16 year old student. The two were said to have exchanged words after the drill. A box truck caught fire near downtown Kenton Thursday at around noon. According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, welding equipment in the cargo area caught fire. The driver told firefighters that he had just finished a job in Columbus, and as he slowed down in Kenton, he smelled smoke. Hardin County - The Hardin County Pork Producers will hold their annual Pork Banquet on Saturday, March 9 at St. John’s Evangelical Church, starting at 6:30 pm. A Wednesday morning accident in Allen County injured an Ada woman. WFIN Radio reported that 44 year old Sheldy Morris was driving east on State Route 81, when her car was struck by a vehicle driven by 19 year old Hadden Smith, of Findlay, who failed to yield the right of way when he drove from Fetter Road. A vehicle was heavily damaged in a crash that occurred Wednesday morning in Hancock County. According to the report from the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Patrol, 49 year old Marla Leonard, of Findlay, lost control of her vehicle while travelling north on I-75.
