A suspect who was wanted in connection to a felonious assault that occurred at a house in Arlington Monday morning has been arrested. 37 year old Brandon Pinks is said to have injured an adult and a teenager at a house in the village. There will be a city-wide shutdown of water tonight in Kenton. Water will be turned off starting between midnight and 2 a.m. It is expected to be off for approximately five hours. Depressurization is necessary so crews can replace a water valve due to failure. The work is being done in the area of Marie and High Streets. When the water is turned back on, there will be a city-wide boil water advisory until further notice.
The lockdown at Arlington School was lifted this morning as of around 11:30. Authorities are now searching for a suspect who is said to have injured two people at a nearby house. A criminal trespassing incident was reported to Kenton Police over the weekend. According to the report, officers responded to the 400 block of North Cherry Street where several vehicles had been broken into. It was also discovered that a storage shed at the rear of the property had been entered as well. It is not known at this time if anything was missing.
