According to information from the Kenton Police Department, Wayne Street from North Street to Jennings and Summit Street from Cherry to Main will be closed today while the work is being done. Woman Accused of Pawning Rented Property

Property belonging to a rent to own business in Kenton was said to have been pawned. According to that report from the Kenton Police Department, officials from Showplace Rent to Own told officers that a television owned by them and being rented by a Kenton woman, was pawned. The television is valued at $725. A 37 year old Kenton woman is facing a charge of theft without consent. The incident remains under investigation.

A road construction project in Findlay is scheduled to start March 25. Lieutenant Colonel Richard S. Fambro was ceremonially promoted to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s highest rank on Monday. Ohio Department of Public Safety Director Thomas J. Injury Accident Blamed on Slippery Roads This Morning

Several mishaps occurred this morning due to slippery road conditions. The most serious was reported around 6:35 this morning on State Route 31 south of Kenton, where the driver slid off the road and the vehicle overturned.
