A Groveport man was arrested in Hardin County Thursday on a warrant from Union County. According to the Daily Media Release from the Union County Sheriff's Office, a deputy from Union County met with a Hardin County deputy Thursday evening and took custody of 37 year old Andre J. Burke on the outstanding arrest warrant. Burke was then transported to the Marysville Police Department and released after posting bond.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is asking motorists to remember to Move Over or Slow Down. That after a trooper's cruiser was struck by a semi this morning along Interstate 77 near Marietta while conducting a traffic stop. A Marysville man was arrested following a domestic disturbance call Thursday night. According to the Union County Sheriff's Office Daily Media Release, deputies were dispatched to the 11,000 block of Rausch Road to investigate the domestic dispute between and husband and wife. After further investigation, 41 year old Joshua L. Stevens was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.
The Ohio Department of Education is developing recommendations to improve educational experiences and outcomes for students with disabilities in Ohio. The agency is calling on parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, foster parents, family members and advocates to assist in developing those recommendations. A Kenton man was sentenced recently in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to the documents from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's Office: .Gideon J. Wright was placed on five years community control with conditions on one count each of aggravated possession of drugs, trafficking in cocaine in the vicinity of a school or juvenile, trafficking in cocaine, possession of heroin and attempted tampering with evidence. The case was heard by Judge Scott Barrett.

The theft of a credit card and identity fraud were reported to Kenton police on Thursday. According to the report, a 26 year old Kenton woman was listed as the victim. Her credit card was stolen and was used to make purchases totalling nearly $5500. The suspect is a 26 year old rural Kenton man. He has not yet been charged. The incident remains under investigation.
The theft of medication occurred Thursday. According to the Kenton Police Department report, the victim told officers different types of prescription medication was stolen while he was at the Kroger store Thursday evening. No suspects were listed, and the theft remains under investigation.
The Kenton High School Instrumental and Vocal Music Department recently traveled to Orlando, Florida with 126 students, 20 chaperones, 3 directors, and Trip Coordinator Judy Donnal for a five day, four night trip to Walt Disney World.
