The Hardin County Board of Elections was unable to hold the meeting scheduled for today, due to illness. That resulted in the lack of a quorum. The next regular meeting will be May 9 at 9:00 a.m. in the Board office at the Hardin County Courthouse.

A three vehicle crash occurred Wednesday afternoon in Wyandot County. According to the report from the Bucyrus Post of the Ohio State Patrol, 19 year old Tiffani Watkins, of Wharton, was driving north on State Right 53 and attempted to make a left hand turn. The Hardin Northern Global Foods class attained an Ohio Level One Serve Safe Certificate. The Ohio Department of Health requires that all employees are properly trained in food safety as it relates to their assigned duties. The 49th Annual Logan County Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony has been set. A parade will gets things started at 11am on Saturday May 11. A ceremony will follow on the South Main Street side of the Logan County Courthouse in Bellefontaine. The Keynote Speaker will be Supreme Court of Ohio Justice Sharon L. Kennedy. The ceremony will conclude at 12:30 that afternoon.
