Another Big Day for KHS Awards Day

The Kenton High School Awards Day was held Tuesday. 45 students applied for Dollars for Scholarships, 43 students applied for Local Scholarships/The Kenton Excellence for Education Scholarships, 49 students applied for the R.E. & Joan Allen Scholarships. A total of $241,300 in scholarships were awarded. That is an increase of around $32,000 from 2021. HCSO Receives State Grant to Help Combat Illegal Drug Activity

The Hardin County Sheriff's Office was one of 41 law enforcement agencies in Ohio to receive funding to help enforce the state’s drug laws and combat illegal drug activity. Governor Mike DeWine on Tuesday announced over $3.6 million was awarded. Of that amount, the Hardin County Sheriff's Office will receive just over $7500.
