78-Year-Old Woman Killed in Head-On Crash on US 20 in Fulton County

The Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on US 20 near County Road 7 in Amboy Township, Fulton County. Hardin Northern Local School District Hardin Northern's History Brigade will host a Father-Daughter Dance this Saturday, March 8. This special evening is open to HN Pre-K through 6th grade girls. Hardin County Family YMCA Launches New Tumbling Program Starting March 9

Hardin County Family YMCA. Hardin County Family YMCA announced a new tumbling program that will begin next week. The Tumbling Program will run from March 9 through April 20. Tot Tumbling is for 18 months to 3 years, Tiny Tumblers 3 to 5 years old, and Beginning Tumbling is for 6 to 10 year olds. The cost is $25 for members and $45 for non-members. Kenton Middle School Enforces New Rules on Fidgets and Markers

Parents/guardians of students at Kenton Middle School were informed about recent changes that were needed to address issues that have arisen.  First, fidgets, in general, will no longer be permitted at school.  These can take many forms such as foam or gel objects, toy cars or skateboards, stuffed animals, and more.  School officials said that these items are becoming a greater distraction in the classrooms and outweigh any benefits, actual or perceived.  Any exceptions would need to be approved by […]

Alger Water Shut-Offs Scheduled for Tomorrow; Payment Due Today

The Village of Alger Water shut-offs in the Village of Alger have been rescheduled to tomorrow. That is because February had only 28 days and their normal disconnection date falls on the 30th. To avoid interruption of water service and a $50 shut-off fee, residents must pay past-due balances no later than 5pm today. Residents can contact the Village Office if they have questions or need assistance.
