The Hardin County Dog Warden has new hours. They are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8am to 4pm, with extended hours on Wednesday until 6pm. Saturday and Sunday are by appointment only. You can visit them at 49 Jones Road to purchase dog tags and visit the adoptable dogs. You can also check out Petfinder for listings, and they are soon to be on Adopt a Pet.
The deadline to register for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central Ohio Firecracker 5K is this Sunday June 21. The 1st Annual event will be held on Saturday, June 27. The race starts at 9:30 that morning at Ada War Memorial Park. Prizes will be awarded for first place in adult and youth categories. Hardin County Sheriff's Office The next Hardin County Coffee with the Sheriff event will be held on Friday, June 26. It will run from 9:00 until 10:30 that morning at the Bear's Den at the Plaza in Mt. Victory. Sheriff Keith Everhart and members of the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office will be in attendance. It is a chance to ask questions, express concerns or to offer a compliment. The coffee is compliments of the Sheriff.

PLSA is an 11-week prestigious, advanced leadership opportunity for law enforcement leaders from around Ohio.
