Ohio Hi Point Students Advance to SkillsUSA Ohio Championships

BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio – Several Ohio Hi-Point students advanced to the SkillsUSA Ohio State Championships after competing at the regional level. Nearly 30 Ohio Hi-Point students competed virtually in the Southwest Ohio SkillsUSA Regional event in February. Kenton Police Ceremony, RCAP Discussion at Council Meeting

Kenton City Council's regular session Monday night saw its greatest public attendance in months--if only for a few minutes. Community members gathered in council chambers after receiving the wave-in from Kenton Police Department Chief Dennis Musser around 7:15 Monday night, just minutes after Kenton City Council approved the minutes of its January 8 meeting. Riverdale Boys Basketball Team Wins 4th Game in a Row

The Riverdale Falcons posted their fourth straight win, defeating Liberty-Benton 53-50 in Blanchard Valley Conference boys basketball action Friday,With their third straight win over the Eagles, the Falcons improve to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in the BVC.  The Eagles fall to 5-6 overall and 4-1 in the conference.Thomas Miller led all players with 15 points for the Falcons. Isaac Holland added 12 points for Riverdale, with Jackson Clark scoring 11 points.

Richardson Take Oath of Office for Another Term in 86th District

Tracy Richardson of Marysville was sworn in for her second term as State Representative at the start of the 134th General Assembly on Monday.  Richardson graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, received a Bronze Star Medal, currently serves as a US Army Reservist, and was elected to the State House of Representatives after nine years on Marysville City Council.  Richardson's district, the 86th, serves Marion and Union Counties.
