Child Okay After Fentanyl Overdose Incident

An incident involving the overdose of a child was reported to Kenton Police Wednesday afternoon.

According to the report, officers were dispatched to Hardin Memorial Hospital in reference to the fentanyl overdose involving the child, who survived the incident.

The suspect, identified on the report as the child’s mother, is facing charges of endangering children, possession of drugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
