
The 9th Annual Made in Ada Wilson Football Festival kicks off this Saturday, August 23, bringing food, music, games, and community spirit to downtown Ada.
The celebration begins at 5 p.m. at Ada Depot Park and runs until 11 p.m., featuring a lineup of activities for all ages.
Guests can enjoy the Kids’ Endzone with inflatables, games, and face painting alongside ONU cheerleaders, take part in a dunk tank with ONU football players, or test their strength in the first-ever Beer Stein Holding Challenge sponsored by Old Route 69 Brewery.
Other highlights include the Made in Ada Hot Wing Challenge, a beer tent, the famous football drop, and a variety of local and regional food trucks serving up everything from BBQ and fries to lobster rolls and waffles.
Live music will keep the energy high with My Cousin Eddie performing from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., followed by the headlining band Trailer Park Ninjas to close out the night.
Earlier in the day, visitors can stop by the Wilson Football Factory at 517 E. Highland Ave. for special open hours from 12–4 p.m. to explore the newly updated lobby filled with memorabilia and shop the gift store.
The festival will once again feature the popular Wilson Airstream photo booth on Main Street, complete with props and decorations.
The annual Made in Ada Wilson Football Festival continues to be a showcase of hometown pride in Hardin County.
