A Marion man’s appeal of his conviction and sentence in a murder trial in Marion County Common Pleas Court has been denied.
Justin Brady was found guilty on two counts of aggravated murder, three counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault.
The case dates back to July of 2023 when Brady shot and killed his sleeping roommate, D’Jontaez Ross.
A jury found Brady guilty on all charges after a trial in October of 2024, and he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in December of that year.
This week, the Ohio Third District Court of Appeals ruled that the aggravated murder conviction is not against the manifest weight of the evidence and upheld the trial court’s judgement.
