
The Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office released information Monday on a Grand Lake Task Force investigation from last week.
According to a release, the investigation led to a traffic stop on I-75 that resulted in the seizure of approximately 1.5 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, with a street value of $20,000, and $806 in U.S. currency.
An Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office K-9 was requested to conduct a sniff of the vehicle and gave a positive indication.
During a subsequent search of the vehicle, deputies located the suspected methamphetamine and currency.
The driver, and sole occupant, was identified as 43-year-old Nicole Marcine Cooper, of Willshire, Ohio.
She was taken into custody and and is being held at the Auglaize County Corrections Center on a charge of possession of drugs.
