The Bellefontaine Police Department has launched the Camera Registration Program on the City of Bellefontaine’s official website.

The program was created to allow residents and businesses to register their camera systems.

The goal is to enhance the community’s safety.

By registering, Bellefontaine Police Department officers and detectives will know which residents and businesses have surveillance cameras that may assist in investigations, help form leads and ultimately solve and prevent crime in our city.

Participation is completely voluntary, and you can opt out at any time by notifying the police department via email.

All residents and businesses are encouraged to consider registering and help strengthen Bellefontaine’s efforts to prevent and solve crime.
