Benjamin Logan Quiz Bowl Team Takes Second at League Tournament, Earns National Bids

The Benjamin Logan Quiz Bowl team competed in the 1st Annual Hardin-Hancock-Logan League Tournament on Saturday at Kenton Middle-High School. The Raiders placed second overall, earning bids to the NAQT National Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, and the NAQT Small School Championships in Rosemont, Illinois, later this year.

Senior Ethan Van Winkle, juniors Junah Tingley and Emily LeVan, and sophomore Michael Berry represented Benjamin Logan in tournament play. Junah Tingley, Michael Berry, and senior Winnie Bodin were also recognized for exceptional individual performances in league play throughout the season.

The team is coached by Michael Kettler, University of Findlay CCP CHEM 111, Physics, and Materials Science teacher at Benjamin Logan High School.

The Raiders will next compete in the Parkway Invitational on Saturday, January 24, 2026, and then prepare to defend their title as the Central Buckeye Conference Quiz Bowl Champions in February.
