Effective immediately, the City of Kenton has declared a Snow Emergency due to current weather conditions and hazardous roadways.

Officials stated they understand that many vehicles parked along city streets are currently buried or difficult to move. Because of this, odd/even side street parking restrictions will not be enforced at this time. However, the downtown parking ban remains in full effect.

The Snow Emergency, in coordination with the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office moving to a Level 3 Snow Emergency, will provide crews the space needed to safely continue snow removal efforts throughout the night once accumulation slows.
