Lumber has arrived, and walls are beginning to rise as Vancrest of Kenton begins to take shape.

Every board, every wall, and every day of progress brings them one step closer to opening the doors and serving the Kenton community with compassionate care. They will offer compassionate assisted living, rehab, and skilled nursing services in a warm and welcoming environment.

The 67,700-square-foot facility will be a 64-bed nursing and residential care facility.

If all goes as planned, it will open in the Spring of 2027.

It is expected to create 51 jobs and a payroll of nearly $2 million. Vancrest was founded in 1960 by Dr. E. E. White and remains family-owned, led by Dr. White’s son Mark White.

For more information or updates on the progress, be sure to follow Vancrest of Kenton on Facebook.
