A Dunkirk man, who was indicted for the murder of a Mt. Victory man in 2022, was unable to attend his recent arraignment because he was admitted to the hospital.
50-year-old Anthony Allen Browne is facing a charge of aggravated murder in connection to the murder of Richard Whitaker Jr. on September 3 of 2022.
According to a Court document, the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction notified the Court that Browne has been admitted to the hospital and is unavailable to be transported.
Judge Steve Christopher continued the matters in the case until such time as Browne can be transported, but so far, no new dates have been set.
Browne is currently serving a five-year prison sentence handed down in September of 2024 on two counts of illegal manufacturing of drugs.
