Crews to Begin Work on Grove Cemetery Chapel Roof Project
Crews arrived this week at the Grove Cemetery Chapel.
Scaffolding is going up to begin the roof replacement project.
Rescue Grove Chapel Committee Members expressed their gratitude for the support they have received, and they noted that they may need a little extra to cover unforeseen repairs.
When the crew starts removing the old layers of the slate roof, they may find major problems that the initial inspections missed.
Rescue Grove Chapel advisors are strongly recommending that a small contingency fund is set aside for precisely those kinds of hidden problems.
