Cyclospora Cases Reported in Auglaize County

The Auglaize County Health Department is currently investigating an increase in gastrointestinal illness cases impacting Auglaize County residents.

According to a release from the Health Department, some of the cases are caused by a parasite called Cyclospora.

To reduce your risk, you should wash your hands for no less than 20 seconds with soap using running water.

You should also wash all produce including from farmers markets, home gardens, and grocery stores.

They should be washed and scrubbed under running cool water.
